According to information shared by family members and those familiar with the incident, Elias is believed to have experienced an epileptic seizure near the water before the accident. The medical episode reportedly caused him to lose consciousness or fall into the water, ultimately leading to the fatal drowning. Authorities have not publicly indicated that foul play was involved.
Born on January 4, 2009, in Park Ridge, Illinois, Elias grew up in Mount Prospect, where he developed a passion for hockey at an early age. His dedication, work ethic, and natural talent quickly distinguished him as one of the state’s most promising young players.
Throughout his youth hockey career, Elias wore the No. 94 jersey while competing for several respected organizations. He began with the Falcons Hockey Association before advancing to the Reapers Hockey Association, where his offensive skill and relentless determination earned widespread recognition.
