The Temple University community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Bryce Wolfe, a Fox School of Business honors student, campus leader, and certified motorcycle safety instructor who died on June 24, 2026, after suffering life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle accident.
According to those close to the situation, Wolfe was critically injured in a serious motorcycle crash in Pennsylvania. Despite the rapid response of emergency personnel and extensive lifesaving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
His passing has left classmates, faculty, colleagues, and members of the motorcycle safety community grieving the loss of a young man remembered for his intelligence, leadership, and unwavering commitment to helping others.
A Rising Leader at Temple University
Bryce Wolfe was pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Actuarial Science and Finance through the Honors Program at Temple University’s Fox School of Business. Known for his academic excellence, he maintained a 3.52 GPA and earned both the Provost’s Academic Scholarship and the Fox School of Business Endowed Scholarship.
Beyond the classroom, Wolfe played a significant role in campus life as a member of Gamma Iota Sigma’s Sigma Chapter, a professional fraternity focused on risk management, insurance, and actuarial science.
As Director of Actuarial Science Career Development, he worked to connect students with career opportunities, organize networking events, and help fellow students prepare for successful careers in the insurance and financial industries. Since his freshman year, he had also served on the organization’s Career Development Committee, helping coordinate professional development programs for his peers.
Passion for Motorcycle Safety
Outside of his university studies, Wolfe dedicated countless hours to improving rider safety as a certified Motorcycle Safety Instructor with the Motorcycle Safety Academy.
He trained new and experienced motorcyclists across central and eastern Pennsylvania, earning a reputation for his patience, professionalism, and ability to simplify complex riding techniques. Students remembered him as an encouraging instructor whose calm demeanor and detailed instruction helped build confidence on the road.
His commitment to motorcycle education makes his passing especially heartbreaking, as he devoted much of his time to helping others ride more safely.
Professional Dedication
Wolfe’s work ethic extended into every aspect of his life. He previously served as a seasonal team lead in the ski rental department at Vail Resorts in White Haven, Pennsylvania, where he supervised operations and emphasized safety during busy winter seasons.
He also worked for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, preparing tax returns for individuals and small businesses while utilizing his strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
Looking toward the future, Wolfe had been preparing to begin an underwriting internship with USLI, where he planned to apply his skills in actuarial science, finance, and risk analysis.

Friends, classmates, and instructors describe Bryce Wolfe as a compassionate leader whose greatest strength was his desire to serve others. Whether mentoring fellow students, teaching motorcycle safety courses, or pursuing academic excellence, he approached every responsibility with humility, discipline, and kindness.
