Folsom Police Investigating Stabbing at Livermore Community Park, Seek Public’s Help

FOLSOM, Calif. — The Folsom Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred Wednesday night at Livermore Community Park, leaving one man injured and prompting detectives to seek assistance from the public.

According to police, officers responded to reports of a stabbing at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, at Livermore Community Park. When officers arrived, they found an adult male suffering from stab wounds.

Emergency medical personnel provided treatment at the scene before transporting the victim to a nearby hospital. Authorities said the victim’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening, and he is expected to recover.

Detectives have launched an active investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Investigators are processing evidence, interviewing potential witnesses, and working to establish what led to the stabbing.
